We had heard from several residents that they were having issues with their homeowner’s insurance because they were more than five miles from a primary responding fire company. Their premiums were being raised. After looking into the issue, we found the best solution was to add a third primary responding fire company to our Township. We have added Lime Ridge Fire Company to our coverage area. They will be covering the Southeast section of our Township, bringing all our properties in that area into the five-mile range. Lightstreet and Orangeville Fire Companies will still be our other two primary responding companies and all three will serve as secondary responding/mutual aid companies when needed. We are blessed to have such great Fire Companies and Volunteers in those three companies, please remember to support them whenever possible as they all need our moral support,
encouragement, and financial support. See the map below for the primary coverage areas.
