North Centre Township Monthly Supervisor Meetings

The monthly North Centre Township Supervisors Meetings are held the second Monday of the month. The meetings begin at 7:00 pm unless otherwise announced, and are held at the North Centre Township Building. Here are the announced dates for the 2026 monthly meetings.

February 9th , March 9th, April 13th, May 18th, June 8th, July 13th, August 10th, September 14th, October 12th, November 9th, December 14th

Planning Commission Meetings

The Planning Commission meets the third Thursday of the month as needed at the Township building at 7PM, unless advertised otherwise.

Agenda for June 18th 2026 – Notice is hereby given that the North Centre Township Planning Commission will hold its regularly scheduled public meeting on Thursday June 18th at 6:00pm at the former Hidlay Church, 179 Hidlay Church Road, Bloomsburg, PA 17815.

Additional Meetings

The North Centre Township Supervisors will hold a public hearing pursuant to the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code at 6 pm on July 15, 2026 at the Central Columbia High School Auditorium, 4777 Old Berwick Road, Bloomsburg PA 17815. The purpose of the hearing is to inform and take public comment on a proposed zoning ordinance and zoning map that will replace North Centre Township’s previous zoning ordinance and zoning map pursuant to the Pennsylvania Municipalities Code, and gives public notice at the conclusion of the public hearing, the Supervisors’ may consider enactment of the proposed new zoning ordinance and zoning map at the public hearing.  The proposed new zoning ordinance and map were considered pursuant to Resolution No. 2026-08 of the North Centre Township Board of Supervisors which invoked the provisions of Section 609.2 of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code. The proposed new zoning ordinance contains the following table of content sections:

The proposed new zoning map creates the following districts: Agricultural Preservation (AP); Commercial Mixed Use (CMU); Conservation (C); Rural Residential (RR); Suburban Residential (SR); and Data Center Overlay (DCO).

2026 Reorganizational Meeting will be held on Jan. 5th, 2026.

2026 Auditors Organizational Meeting will be held on Jan. 6th, 2026 at 7 PM.
